I walked past the bedroom door and heard a faint snoring noise. I then realized that it would be very unlikely for the noise to be so close considering that your bed is across the room from the door. I peeked underneath the door and there were little baby paws! I was able to just barely get my camera through the door to snap one of the most adorable pictures of you I have ever taken.

Uncle Matthew

I know he's not your blood uncle, but we're going to be one of those odd families who consider close friends to be family. And since Aunt Sarah helped deliver you, she's about as close to family as you could be so lucky to get. I wish I would have thought to record you saying 'motorcycle'... too cute.

Mommy's Toughest Critic

Mommy has been working diligently to master the art of homemade pizza dough. And what better night to pull out all of the stops than the night when I pull in the driveway to a Mr. Aiden Gray demanding pizza for dinner!? After I hand tossed, that's right, tossed the pizza dough and situated it on the pan, you were so generous as to help me decorate it! You did such a good job. I love the second to the last photo when you are obviously critqueing your favorite food. I think the last picture speaks for itself. 4 Stars you say?!

Spring Festival 2009

I'm so glad that Daddy decided to bring to the Festival today so that I could spend some time with you during my busy day! The best part was not the barbque that you are enjoying, but the moment in time that fell into place so perfectly. I was walking away and you decided to follow me blindly. You were looking at the ground and I noticed that you were pretty much just following my shadow. I started making circles around people and weaving in and out of the booth. You started laughing and I said, "Just like a duck! You're my little baby duck!" And then I put my hands under my arms and started flapping and quacking and so did you! It was adorable. I would give so much to be able to have that moment recording so that I could watch it again and again. Priceless moments!

Today we planted our first plants. I mean literallly, my first time planting anything on my own was shared with you. What a fond memory! I hope that we can do this every spring. I am determined to teach you things that I never learned growing up and that I feel are imperative for you to know.

You had fun tonight! We played in the dirt, smelled the flowers, and at this particular moment shared a 'Say Cheese' for you father. Thank you so much for nights like tonight. Even when I am super busy and have so many tasks to handle, you help me and turn a task into fun. I love you for that.

This is the second ride ever you took on your bicycle all by yourself. Accomplishment pleases you (hear the giggles?), and I'm so proud of you. Daddy has told everyone, which is proof enough he was happy to be the one to teach you to ride your tricycle.
